During the summer of 2024, I interned for the Boston Comic Arts Foundation (BCAF), mainly working in areas of graphic design for their local convention, Calmer Con.

For one of their logos, I worked in Adobe Illustrator to wrap the text around the image in a way that matched the curve of the shape, alternating between different fonts and angles.

I was also tasked with redesigning their mascots, Calm Chameleon and Passion Fruit Bat, in a variety of art styles. My client requested the mascots be drawn in a similar vein to popular anime, such as One Piece and My Hero Academia. In addition, they wished for the mascots to be drawn and colored in a more simplistic style to match the designs of some of their pre-existing mascots, the Mood Dudes.
